Gotta clarify the wiki, decide what our threshold is in terms of chara count (some tags require all members to be present; due to the circumstances of the Chiesters Chiester556 died before the main story most group pics are probably going to be just 2 or 3 of them) and then garden the posts.
Main question here is if we want the cutoff to be 2 of them present or at least 3 for the tag to qualify. I'm fine with either but generally duo tags get the axe so 3 would be on the safer side. Either way chiester_sisters solo should be gardened away.
BUR #41517 has been approved by @nonamethanks.
mass update chiester_sisters solo -cosplay -> -chiester_sisters
Putting it to a BUR vote to see if other people think this tag should be converted into a group tag. Remaining posts can then be gardened after the minimum threshold is decided.

How do you determine the minimum threshold?

I don't know if there's a good way to do it via BUR voting so... just what people say in response in this thread? I think 3 is a good minimum and will probably default to that if this goes through, but if other people feel strongly to make the minimum 2 they can fight for that here.
The previous topics on group tagging (topic #26691 and topic #28972) have resulted in the general consensus that 3 characters is the minimum required for a group tag to be applied.

Seems kinda pointless to me. Group tags are useful when it comes to searching larger groups, but the Chiesters are just four people (or three considering that 556 is rarely depicted), so even a two-tag search gives you most relevant results.
Group tags are not just for searching for any posts featuring the characters, they're for finding posts that specifically focus on the group, either by having them be the only people in the image or having them be the most prominent detail. Because there's four characters in this group, there's not an easy search that can find all posts meeting this criteria that includes any combination of at least three of the members.
A two tag search of any of the members would include posts that only feature those two characters, and posts where those characters just happen to be in the picture, and isn't really a way to find "images featuring this group as the focus."

We've got a similar potential problem with Stakes of Purgatory, btw. Threshold for that group might be higher since we do regularly see all seven.
BUR #42269 is pending approval.
mass update stakes_of_purgatory solo -cosplay -> -stakes_of_purgatory
Similar case to Chiester sisters. Main difference is that all of their outfits are 100% identical, so it continuing to exist for cosplay tagging is a no-brainer. Other main difference is we do regularly see all seven of them, so we could hypothetically make our threshold be "all seven are present" but I'm fine with whatever arbitrary number between 3 and 7.
That aside, the most recent post in the tag (post #9012702) is interesting because it's showing the stakes as… well, stakes. Which raises the question of if we want to continue using this tag for that purpose as well.
