Non-English text in the wiki: Yes, No or Maybe?

Posted under General

User @icyspider has been making a few wiki pages (e.g. tyson tan) bilingual in English and Chinese. Is this something that should be tolerated or even encouraged? If yes, should it be OK to add translations into any language to the wiki, or only into languages that are common in the user base and/or somehow associated with the topic of the page? I couldn't find any explicit guidance on this in howto:wiki or help:community rules. The latter only states that Danbooru is "in general" an English-speaking website, in the context of post comments.

My own stance is that the wiki should stay English-only, to keep pages neat and avoid fragmentation and contradictions in the content. I'd appreciate opinions from other users and/or an admin verdict on this, though.

Languages aside, IMO some of icyspider's edits these pages (e.g. electric hearts) include too much lore and project info for the Danbooru wiki. (Edit: I checked the page history, and most of the info was actually put there by someone else. My mistake.)
