External, labeled links

Okay, so the help:Dtext page says it's an amalgam of Textile, MediaWiki, and BBCode, and yet I haven't been able to figure out how to make a named link using my rudimentary knowledge of any of those three languages. So, how does it work?

Any way to get quotation marks to work between the two for the link? Maybe just use to apostrophes as a workaround?

No escape characters that I know of, so yeah just do this.
