Translated but unapproved in 3 days - why?

I just had 5 images deleted because they passed the 3 day mark. They had been fully translated, but now the translations are lost. Is there some reason or did the mods just not get around to it? What am I supposed to do now?

The translations are not lost. Do a search for user:nice_starship status:deleted, click the post you want the translations for, then look in the sidebar under "History: Notes".

The translations aren't entirely lost, just their placement--see the Note history.

Should have just put this in the Appeals thread.

Their placement isn't lost either. I can see them just fine, as a janitor. If the post is ever undeleted, the translation notes will be right as rain, so to speak.
