Tag Alias: v-13 -> nu-13

Does a blob from chrono trigger with less than 10 posts in 3 years really need the base tag for nu? Make the current nu nu_(chrono_trigger) and blazblue's the base tag.

e: for the record, v-13 but if we go the nu route do it this way.

+1 for v-13. Going from the official sites the number 13 is included in the name when written in English.

Strong objection to nu_(blazblue) at the very least, qualifiers suck and should be reserved for unpopular things or things with less tags.

BTW, +1 nu-13. Forcing our tags to be in the latin alphabet only means forcing our tags to be in the latin alphabet only. v-13 was the original tag (trying to represent "ν-13" through transletteration ), so to correct that I don't see a good reason to get rid of the "-13" and add a qualifier. In any case, transliteration is better than transletteration, obviously, since it actually makes sense.

Heh, this may be the thread with the least resemblance of anything approaching consensus ever.

So I'm going to somewhat arbitrarily go with nu-13 because no matter what I go with, someone is going to have a strong (and possibly reasonable) objection in favor of something else. And if I don't do it now it'll just linger.

Oh calm down. I was being somewhat facetious. I read all the posts, and everyone had good points. And despite the way you spin it, it was anything but "demonstrated" that it had to be one way.

If I picked one of the others then someone else would be saying the same thing you are, with the assumption that their choice was CLEARLY the best.

I also find the accusation that I ignore feedback to be pretty disingenuous from someone who spends enough time here to know that's completely the opposite of the truth.

Here is the general break down of the current votes, as far as I could tell through counting (due note individuals can fall under more than one vote if they voted for more than one thing). I also counted only the last post of individuals when they listed their choices. I also only counted people who stated their vote.

nu-13: 6 votes
v-13: 8 votes
nu: 3 votes
nu or nu-13: 7 votes
v-13 or nu-13: 13 votes
total: 14

Going from that v-13 has the most single votes, though only by 1 vote.

While I support v-13, I'd say that all these results show is that everyone for the most part accepts including the *-13 in the name and a equal split on v vs. nu.
