AI-generated art check thread

This thread called "AI-generated art check thread" - I pointed on AI, if approvers think that upscaling and adding some lines above it is "AI-assited" (when AI did 99.9% of the work) - I can nothing to say but to admit it as a shameful act. Hoped this site will be AI free, but...

And again, if you feel that AI redraws should be tagged as AI-generated and banned, you are welcome to create a topic about it. This thread is solely for checking whether AI-generated or AI-assisted tags would apply to posts as the definitions currently stand.

Any signs that it was generated by ai? There are no artifacts on the hands, sharp detailed background, a lot of details: geometrically right bowtie, table, choco. Hair is little bit messed up, maybe it's ai-assisted, but how to understand that it was completely ai-generated?

Other art by the same artist:

And if it's ai-assisted can I upload these pictures?

It looks 100% AI generated. They even stated it in the description. But even without that, there's plenty of AI artifacts

The commentary of that image tells us, that the image was done by the artist with a final touch done by AI. 6 fingers aren't really a problem, as long as it doesn't ruin the whole quality of the image. And I really fail to see your problems with clothes and hair.

That's what you get for never reading commentaries (and being awake for like too many hours).

I request an analysis on pictures made by this artist ocel01 because I would like more opinions (and it's very possible it was a mistake approving them at all). I took a look at the artist's pages, and there are serious signs their work are all AI-generated. It seems the 'artist' themselves are self-uploading the pictures here.

  • The artist uploaded on their pages six high-quality looking art on the span of six days.
  • Deviantart has been active for two months.
  • First twitter post dates from february 18.
  • First patreon post dates from from january 5, and the patreon posts before february 16 are even more AI-generated like.

Look at his Patreon, especially older uploads compared to new ones ( older as in like early February rofl ).
It's very obviously the '' generic stable diffusion '' artstyle, and then suddenly it changes multiple times until recently.

I'd suggest reporting his Patreon too honestly, he's VERY obviously scamming people with ai.

its not just that but also like one user mentionned under one of the posts, it seems optionaltypo's art is being used in the AI for most of the recent pieces. That + the fact that style itself is rather inconsistent overall, and not at all the kind of style inconsistency actual artists complain about sometimes, rather the kind that comes from using a different artist's gallery to feed the AI
adding in what you pointed out, for me there's absolutely no doubt this "artist"'s "work" is all AI-generated

An Admin may want to take a look at him really, it's the guy himself uploading images.
He's trying to market himself everywhere to lead people to his Patreon so he can scam them, he'll just keep uploading...

At the moment though, I don't think anything should be done to the AI guy just yet. Their upload limit is currently past their allowed cap, which prevents them from uploading any more AI-generated images. This should give them the memo that the stuff isn't allowed on this site.

Of course, if they continue to post AI stuff once their upload limit resets, or sockpuppet to circumvent it, then I suppose it's fair game for administrative action since they would be continuing to break site rules.

Just look at their comments on post #6095152 and post #6095382. They are knowingly uploading AI stuff (can't really call it an oopsie) and are being an asshat to people telling them it's not allowed.

Looks AI but the artist provided this.

Long time lurker here, just giving my two cents.

1. Even from that "sketch", notice that it awkwardly crops away the entire left arm? And even the bottom legs which don't look anatomically correct either? How far is that butt suppose to be?

2. Look at the eyes. A common dead give away of A.I art is they always have that low res look that feels upscaled. Traditional drawings don't look blurry and you can still see the brush strokes.

3. His twitter banner clearly has deformed hands, weird mouth, inconsistent eyes.

https://pbs.twimg.com/profile_banners/1628702000258097152/1677148165/1500x500

In case he deletes it, here's a backup screenshot as proof:

4. He Joined February 2023. Literally months after the A.I generators flooded the internet.

Sorry but the dude is a faker/A.I scammer. I hope I can help!

Edit: And if by some miracle he somehow drew it, I want to bring to Danbooru's attention that there's an ongoing trend of Artists plugging their old drawings into these A.I generators and spitting out "new" versions of it.

Compare this guy (first image was A.I, the second image was his old work):
https://www.artstation.com/artwork/GeXJDd

Or even this one (first link is A.I, the second link was his old work):
https://www.artstation.com/artwork/w0AV45
https://www.artstation.com/artwork/EV6eEq

They're getting more sneaky.
