Can't see posts when searching

Posted under General

Not that I know of. The only difference between danbooru and safebooru should be that the latter only shoes safe images.

By "not seeing posts" do you mean you don't get any results at all, or the thumbnails just don't display correctly, or something else?

- Try downloading the image directly. Does that work?
- Have you tried other browsers? Other computers?
- Does your browser do anything funny with the HTTP Referrer header? Images will only display if the referrer is from danbooru.donmai.us

Are you using any of the Danbooru Greasemonkey scripts?

I've noticed that sometimes one of those scripts will delete the thumbnails html. I haven't worked out which one, yet, or why. It usually happens when there's a non-alphanumeric character in the search.

I'm currently using FireFox. I was on my brother's laptop the other day, and everything was working fine. He too, has Firefox. Maybe there's something wrong with my Firefox. It doesn't function properly on some sites. I'll try fixing it. BTW, what are exactly the Greasemonkey scripts?

Uh, artanis00's point was that if you use greasemonkey scripts you should be prepared for the site to get fucked up since most of them are not written by albert. I.e. for troubleshooting purposes, get rid of any greasemonkey scripts you might be using, don't add more.

BTW artanis00, the pixivFix greasemonkey script is actually integrated into danbooru now, so you can get rid of it.

are you using some sort of image/ad blocking software (such as adblock plus)? because you might have a rule in there that is blocking the thumbnails. or you might have set up the security on firefox itself too high and it doesn't accept the thumbnails.

Use IE7 and try searching. If IE7 will show it, you might with to check any addons that might block images or your security/blocking settings for firefox.

if all else fails, reinstall firefox.

Still not working. I did everything I could. I don't have an Ad blocker or anything like that. But everything works fine on IE. Looks like I'll have to investigate this issue with FF. Anyway, thanks for all your help, guys. I really appreciate it.

well if IE works, then your firefox is corrupted. i'm telling you, you need to reinstall firefox.
