Clarification of claw* tags

Posted under General

Currently, Claws wiki states:

Long pointed nails on the paws of an animal, or a person with animal-like claws.

For the weapon that is fitted over the hand or forearm, see claw (weapon). For the hand gesture imitating claws, see claw pose.

Claw (weapon)'s wiki:

Claws that are used as weapons. Made from sharp blades that are aligned to form a claw.

Claw Ring's wiki:

A ring that resembles an animal claw. Although it's called a ring, it's usually longer than a normal ring and covers the finger up to the first or second knuckle. It may also include a bendable joint.

Also known as a finger claw ring or a finger armor ring.

The gist of the tags is:
-Claws is for "natural" claws, or are at least part of the body.
-Claw (weapon) is for any weapon that is used as "claws".
-Claw Ring is for a specific type of weapon

My main two questions are:
-Should Claw (weapon) become an umbrella tag of multiple claw-like weapons, or separated into multiple tags?
It's current use goes from gloves with finger armour at the end, similar to Claw Rings (eg. post #4336056, post #4129221), to oversized gauntlets (eg. post #4297933, post #4314930), to weapons similar to a bagh nahk (eg. post #4294913) or clawed gauntlets (eg. post #3970824).

-Should prosthetic arms count towards Claws or Claw_(weapon)?
Mainly wondering because there are artworks like post #4194622 where they don't look much different from gloves with spiked finger armour, but there are also characters like lei lei or passionlip, where Claws and Claw (weapon) are used interchangeably.

I wouldn't inherently consider claw_rings weapons. There is also a clawed_gauntlets tag, which is where the gloves similar to the claw rings should be migrated to from the weapon tag.

In general I think the claw weapons should be something that is equipable, and without removing an arm or hand to do it. If the fingers are outright replaced with blades, like post #4194622, then it should be claws instead of claw weapon.
