Tag Alias: unknown_(pixiv315238)

Aliasing unknown_(pixiv315238) → unknown_(artist)

Reason: goddammit. We need the ability to see who created a tag to be able to lart people who name them _(pixiv######).

You can always dig around the images to find the earliest tag edit the tag appears at (not reasonable for tags with lots of images though).

In this case the earliest post coincides with the earliest use of the tag.

All of the earliest instances are by swift so I would assume he started the trend.

I'm the one that gave the newbies spamposting stuff from pixiv without the artist name that "how-to" page, made by Deru (opem). But it says to use the pixiv12345 ONLY when 1) the name is taken, 2) the name_(artist) is taken 3) name_(pixiv name) is taken. It clearly say to use the name_(pixiv handle number) as a last resort.

I don't know who deru is, but even in the case of 1, 2, and 3, there's always 4) the account name in the direct image URL. If anything, 4 is sometimes better than the display name on the pixiv page, as that can change a lot. And the account name is plain old alphanumeric too. But basically anything and everything short of raw kanji tags is preferrable to _(pixiv######).

For a pixiv artist? If you just can't come up with anything, you can use the account name in the URL:

hxxp://img01.pixiv.net/img/THISPARTHERE/12345.jpg

...assuming it's not already in use, and then ask on the forums if you think there could be something better. See forum #16675 for some examples of people asking this.

For a non-pixiv artist... well, same thing, just either ask before you tag anything, or come up with something logical based on site name or whatever... and then ask anyway.

koga_(pixiv557878), it's only one post, and there's already a different koga on here (also with one post). So does that mean no change or draw from filename or...? koga_(pixiv557878)'s current pixiv username is yamazaki in katakana, but that's taken by somebody else (with just one post). Looking at the post, deleting it to make room for a new yamazaki is an option...

Just wondering what the right thing to do for cases like these...
