I don't know why we need a separate pool for non-safe posts, it's easy to separate them with a tag search.

I never thought about it before, but why exactly are nsfw images banned from pool #1628? I could understand an argument that used condoms aren't fancy, and that's all pool #14972 is, but why specifically exclude actual examples of "fancy wings" just because the image they're in is nsfw?
@Unbreakable @blindVigil
Ask @Cyberia-Mix. He's been that way since the very beginning.
Hi, actually the sfw rule isn't from me*.
The pool does have rating:q posts since the early days.
I don't remember if it had rating:e posts, but any lack was probably just the result of having no candidates at the time.
After some time I stopped monitoring the pool and let it live its own life, years before the rating:e posts in pool #14972 appeared.
It would make sense that the sfw rule was added in response, otherwise I don't see what would be its purpose.
Maybe its author assumed the lack of rating:e posts was intentional.
I would consider adding the oldest 2 condom posts to pool #1628. The pool doesn't need every example of the idea, and these 2 have the merit of being the first ones and of being different from each other.
...
Naturally, this moves the question to why pool #1628 is even needed after the introduction of alternate wings.
From the start, the pool was meant not for any random/generic alteration, but specifically the most unique ones, either from being drastically different ①, or from expressing something ② (and maintaining the visual connection in both cases).
① is arguably of same nature as alternate wings (though I'd rather keep those too), but ② has additional depth to it.
Most of the pool could probably be cleaned up. I can do it if that sounds okay (I mean it's not like I actually own the pool).
*: Not sure I'm reading the pool link right, but I remember looking last time this was brought up and the history shown was wrong. (I actually started drafting a reply that time but couldn't come to a conclusion and then things happened.)
The original description was only the title and first sentence. The rest was added over time by other users, can't tell when.

I like the pool being used for exceptional examples of unique wings, otherwise it's entirely replaceable by alternate_wings.
My suggestion would be a mass update to add the tag to the whole pool, since I imagine many are missing it, and then trim it down to truly standout examples, or just nuke it if enough people think that's a better option. My vote is on the former.
Oh, and pool #14972 doesn't need to exist in either case, any posts in it can be added to pool #1628 if need be, but there's no need for a separate pool just for nsfw examples.
Removed the rule from pool #1628 about not allowing non-safe posts. Usually rules like this come from pool creators trying to set rules about how their pools are used. This isn't how it works. Pools are community property, like tags, and pool creators don't have any special privileges to dictate how others use their pools.

mass update pool:touhou_-_filthy_winged_flandre -> -pool:touhou_-_filthy_winged_flandre pool:touhou_-_fancy_winged_flandre
Nuke pool #14972. Most of these were just wings with used condoms. You can search for Flandre_Scarlet condom_belt instead.

mass update pool:bnha_x_sf_-_street_fighter_plus_ultra_(kellzallday) -> -pool:bnha_x_sf_-_street_fighter_plus_ultra_(kellzallday)
It's categorized as a series rather than a collection, but there's no story or any apparent reason to keep the images in sequential order. As far as I can tell, this pool only exists to replace a kellzallday boku_no_hero_academia street_fighter search.

Is it necessary when it can replicated by searching height_difference + relevant tags?
pool #1838
Wouldn't it work better as a tag?

Caught another one: pool #16249

Putting it up for a vote because I agree. Can't implicate to mermaid because mermen fit too (post #2701785)
