I don´t mean, that sketchiness means poor quality. But I thinks that it´s harder to get a sketch approved, than a complete work. Sometimes it just needs an approver who likes stuff like that or wants to give it a chance. Like, now your upload got approved.

the amount of tags doesn't indicate whether or not an image will be approved.
I think there has been more posts lately which means some will be buried unfortunately.

It's part of a collection of three images, but only this one went unapproved. On Pixiv they are part of the same post. The first two were posted to Danbooru years ago, but this one was skipped for some reason, so I thought it would be a good idea to include it now.

Third has broken spine, fifth looks weird in a lot of places (ears, mons pubis, etc).
For post #3824252, personally i didn't like how sketchy and low effort it looks.
First and second were just missed the first time, they've been approved now.

Alright i'm starting to get extremely fucking tilted how my uploads dont get approved for seemingly arbitary reasons.
Many of my uploads are consistent with the artists other works and in some cases are parent/sibling posts of already existing approved posts that i went out of my way to find and upload to complete image sets/galleries yet for some goddamn reason those don't get approved.
I already stopped uploading once few years back because i got burnt out with inconsistency the approvals.
Here's the whole list of uploads i took the time to write down and categorize whose fate i highly disagree with.

I skimmed through a bunch of them and they all have very gross-looking semen.

That's only a handfull of the them, also a first time i have seen someone say "gross semen".
Imo the animations looks very fluid, and going by the amount of likes & favorites those have many would agree.

The first set:
They were not approved. They were uploaded by someone with unrestricted uploads, so they don´t need to be approved.
The second set:
It´s not really worth having, even if it´s part of a pool. Only my opinion, but there is nothing special about this image. It´s just less worth than those other images.
The third set:
Only my opinion, but I think that´s it just gross, so I understand why approvers maybe won´t just like stuff like that. Same thing with Scat or Guro images - not everybody likes it and so your chance is very low, that any approver is going to approve it.
The fourth set:
Inferior images aren´t goin to be approved, if images with a higher quality are on this site. You have to be very lucky, that some approver approves it, before the better source gets uploaded on here.
The last one:
Just look at her hip, her spine, her upper body. It look weird and part of it doesn´t connect.
For the rest, I share the same opinion as nonamethanks, and for the rest: it´s just plain to much to look through all of it. You should only post like five of your deleted images you want feedback for. Another advice would be to write "better" appeals. Something like "pls" isn´t going to get someone to approve a picture. Point out why any image is good and why it´s worth having on danbooru.

Shouldn't approvers judge the pictures objectively instead of ''it's good quality but this is not what i like so no''.

Nope. Top of the modqueue says "As a general rule, you should only approve of posts that you personally like".
This is balanced by the number of approvers. There's enough around that if a post deserves being in the gallery it'll be liked by at least one of us and approved.

Oh wow, well that's a dumb system imo.
And it would appear that is not balanced well enough since there wasn't a approver who liked that picture enough to approve it. The artwork is good and in line with the artists other work (which are approved obviously).
But at least this clears it for me why the approval system feels so extremely inconsistent. Not only is approver taste bias allowed, its encouraged.
