It'd be very useful to be able to cancel reports without deleting them. Currently, negative records prevent you from doing several things, primarily inviting people. That means it's not possible for us to decide that someone has repented for their past infractions without losing valuable historical data. If their negative effects could be cancelled without deleting them, it'd be possible to "forgive" someone, but still keep tabs in case something comes up in the future.
