[Feature Idea] User Promotion Report Update

Posted under General

We've already gotten the attention of one of the coders, Type-kun. If you feel like the last version I posted is good enough, a feature request can be submitted on GitHub. However, I'm of the opinion to wait a while, let's say a week, to chew on the format of the report like we have been doing. Next weekend, I'll submit the feature request if nobody else has done it. This will also include your ideas for modifying the top title bar.

Great. And yeah, I think this is great from the structure, but instead of making the name cursive, I would underline them. This is better to distinguish Builders from Non-Builders. Well, at least it helps me more^^. Doesnt't matter which group, but they should be visually different^^.
And since you have done those statistics, I think you should go ahead and post it there^^.

One last thing...forgot it every time.
Is it possible to create a flag report? since flags and appeals are not visible, I don't think this will come through, but how about a report that says this:
User 1: Flagged posts in 1 month: 40; Success rate: 60%
User 2: Flagged posts in 1 month: 12; Success Rate 12%

Same thing with appeals.

Sure, I hadn't thought about those objects. I'll tackle those tomorrow and post something up hopefully by early afternoon.

So it would be possible.
But I guess about that we need a moderator since flags and appeals are not visible to regular users below mod status.

The usernames for Appeals are visible to regular users. Anyways, if nothing else, I can compute general statistics for flags and appeals.

Example:

  • 240 total flags for the entire site last month
    • 67% were successful
  • 120 total appeals for the entire site last month
    • 24% were successful

Unbelievable :o.
Well, then the question is why the appeal counter isn't shown on the user's statistics then.
user #23799 I can't see yours^^.
user #460797 Or mine account. I have two appeals.

Ugh, this came out of nowhere, but since we already add our Admins in who have such a high post change count due to their approval, I think we also should create a report of users who are requesting these BURs
Like: User 1 made 5 requests of which 5 were accepted.

And about the thing with flags: Since this whole idea should help users, I don't think it will help to create such report. Simply because no user is mentioned.
That's why a moderator or better an admin should say something about that report.

Also: Is is possible to implement who uploaded the most images in the last month?

Already done with that report. I'm waiting on a few things before I post it. Just FYI, there is no way to display the same amount of information for the plain singular Tag Alias or Tag Implication requests. This is because once one of those gets rejected, they are removed completely from visibility. I've already made a note of it in topic #9127/p130. I can still count the approved and pending, but not the rejected ones.

It's already in the table data. Check out the post changes table (forum #118437). It's just ordered by total post changes, rather than uploads. Unfortunately, DText doesn't allow column orderings to be changed...

Well, if rejected ones are not visible, then that is fine. Because our admins will only then receive a boost in their post changes when they accept a request. So then it is only fine to show only the succesful requests.

For the next report version roll-out, I was planning on starting a new thread, just so that the latest version can always be the first post so that it isn't buried in the thread. I'll use this thread to archive any older versions from the new thread.
