No panties + Panties around one leg

Oftentimes, a post that would otherwise have the no_panties tag, doesn't because it already has the panties_around_one_leg tag. Examples:

This is wrong, isn't it? The relation between these tags is like ass and no_ass, they don't exclude each other despite their names implying they do. no_panties and no_ass aren't literal, they have a set use on Danbooru.

The wiki for no_panties says "Used when someone is in a situation where you would expect her to be wearing panties but she isn’t". That doesn't exclude /paol, right?

I always figured the no_panties tag was used if the panties weren't present on the girl's body at all.

I don't think nopan and /paol are in contradiction. Another example would be a girl holding her panties in her hand, or wearing them on her head (I'm sure we have a few examples). Those would still be nopan.

No, that's not what the ambiguous flag is for. If you see users mistakenly removing the tag, post a comment or send them a message.

So panty_pull and panties_around_one_leg are now officially distinct then.

I don't think you understand what ambiguous means on Danbooru. The ambiguous flag is for where two distinct things are grouped into the same tag, not where a post tagged with one thing may or may not include another related tag.
