What's happening is simple, really. Byakuren is smiling because she is forcing the crew to watch Twilight. And Unzan is having "Not sure if want" feelings about the situation.

Its a camera focus shift. The parent picture is what it looks like from the front. This picture what it would look like if the picture was viewed from the side and focused on the background; Byakuren appears blurred because shes out of focus.

Uh, but why are they perturbed and crying?

Because she lined them up in front of a bunch of coloured rectangles for some bizarre reason and is generally acting weird (for all we know they might not even know what a camera is)
