What many people are referring to is the infamous dialogue between Dracula and Richter in Symphony of the Night. Note that Dracula is holding a goblet for most the conversation, then tosses it on the floor.

I think another important piece to know is that Flan is a type of pudding desert with eggs and custard, while, the titular character's nickname is Flan. This is the wine in the scenario I believe.
