It's a Russian helicopter, don't know the exact designation of it off the top of my head. You get a really good look of it in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl, after Kruglov's chopper crashes.

It's a Mil MI-24, NATO callsign "Hind." A Soviet hybrid attack/transport helicopter known for its relatively durable design and surprising agility in expert hands. They were used extensively in the Soviet-Afghan war, where they were massively effective until the introduction of U.S. MANPADs started getting them swatted out of the air.

Still in use today and has since been modernized.
