Her power has nothing to do with plants though... unless you were joking.
Uiharu's power is to prevent an object's temperature from changing (something that is hot will stay hot, something that is cold will stay cold, etc.), but being a Level 1, she has to stay in constant contact with the object for it to work and she herself is not resistent to temperature changes so something hot will still burn her and something cold will still freeze her. Her ony real use of the power is to keep takeout food from getting cold. Its worthless in a fight.
