While the suit is hot and I'd love to see Fate in it (Nanoha optional), I still hate it. I still want my magical girl Nanoha to come back. And jesus christ, did they just make Raising Heart obsolete? What?

Because the main baddies are magic proof, Raising Heart uses magic based attacks, see the glaring problem here?

Still sounds like an excuse(A perfect one) to change the series genre. In strikers they went from Magical girls to simply people that use magic. It's now COMPLETELY different from its roots.

This. Cyborgs, robot drones, mecha girls. This is not the Nanoha I know and love.
You weren't paying very close attention in the first season then where they purposefully turned most magical girl memes on their head and made it clear magic and hi-tech work together and are indistinguishable.
Is her armor/dress magic, or is it nano machines? It's both? Okay, that's cool.

No offense but the orginal show used an ultra-advance tech, like barrier jackets, starships, advance cloning abilities that could implant memories of the orginal into the clone (which if you know even an iota of brains and memories, is a impressive tech) almost all 'magic' things had tech (extremely advance tech) inside them.
Besides, because of all those things, we got Subaru, I consider that a victory for all parties involved in my book.

Yes and I loved it. Now it's just a generic mecha with girls.

Yes yes I know but S1 and 2 still had magical girl elements to it. For me it was like CCS with future magiktech instead of ancient magic. I loved that. Now, it's less magic and more tech. Some people might say, "Oh that's just the natural evolution of the series," but I'll have to disagree. S1 to A's was a natural evolution. A's to StrikerS was the writers trying to turn Nanoha into something like Naruto or Bleach. I hate it.

This isn't a permanet thing, this is a temporary measure due to the extremely high magic resilience of the baddies, a resilience I might add is completely abnormal in-universe, besides which would you rather have? TSAB ATTEMPTING to adept to a situration where their old methods fail, or keep bashing their head agaisnt the wall without attempting to change tactics.
Though I can help but wonder why TSAB wouldn't just break out the old rail/coilguns from wayback when to deal with the new threat but that's just me.

less about magic? have you read the recent chapters where Hayate uses her magic to create a giant glacier which she then proceeds to threaten to drop onto the "baddies". That's probably one of the more impressive pieces of magic in the series so far.

And said magic needed an Environmental Impact Assessment to be carried out before firing.

Isn't that what they said during StrikerS...?

Of course. That's all Hayate has, FORTUNATELY.
Then again, she did get impaled by a Sephiroth sword.

Too much techtalk for my magical brain.
Other than this tech vs. magic stuff, Nanoha's looking pretty thin and a cup smaller here. Kinda strange since she's usually drawn a little meatier.

The "final boss" in A's also had nigh "impenatrable" defences. The cast found a way around that by knowing that the defence was broken up in layers made of Physical protection and Magical protection. I believe it would have been better had the cast found some sort of loop hole rather than abandoning magic all the way. I'll take what I can get with Magical girls turn to people that can use magic, but to forgo magic seems a bit much to me.

You conveniently leave out the part where she then immediately gets shanked in the back by a new super-Huckbein who comes out of fucking nowhere. But I can forgive that, after all it's pretty much par for the course for this entire season.

I think you miss the point. Nanoha herself, contrary to the meme, is not a Gundam. She's a Pretty Cure with a beam cannon, at least for the first two seasons. Now she's turned into a Strike Witches ripoff and the rest of the series went with her.

Oh look, a fan-made video that proves exactly nothing.
The Cures have been doing their thing for years before Nanoha came along, and Devil Hunter Yohko predates them by another five or six years; combat-capable MGs are nothing new. The only thing that distinguishes Nanoha from any other magical girl -- at least until StrikerS -- is her boomstick and a more well-developed magic system that looks like something out of D&D.
I'd like to formally apologize for accidently starting a fan fight here, it was a complete accident that spiraled out of control, and I take full responability for it, once again, I'm sorry. It appears that I'd forgotten a very importent rule, internet is serious business, magical girls even more so

Wait, what? If they killed off Hayate I'm going to have to start killing some people.
From what I have read, this is what I think. 1st There is no problem having characters from another Nanoha manga since force is like a sequel.
2nd Some people are already judging the two mangas as bad because they either wanted only to see Nanoha beat the crap out of the opponents or just not interested with the two mangas plot.
Finally Only Nanoha is seen with an armor or an exosuit yet so I can't really say it became a mecha theme already even with the cyborgs and stuffs. Which is what is wrong with it? Besides,
The Gen 5 device in a form of Bardiche is being developed so after he is completed, then raising heart would follow then ass kicking time for those who wanted it so badly.

"Already" nothing, Force has been running for over a year now and about half of that has consisted of the protagonists getting curbstomped by the invincible Mary Sue villains at every fucking turn, including interrupting the one time in the past three or four years that Hayate has had a chance to do something awesome. ViVid is better in some respects but still not up to the standard set by the first two seasons.

The problem isn't just with the exosuit, it's with the AEC and the general abandonment of magic except as a power source for the weapons. The exosuit does the same thing with Nanoha's barrier jacket but with an additional level of blatant fanservice pandering.
This series was at its best, most unique, and most entertaining in the first two seasons, where it was basically Pretty Cure but without the 30 episodes of filler, and with all the magical trinkets (designed to be toys for ten year-olds by the merchandising department) replaced by particle beam cannons and flaming chainswords. It was awesome because it took everything that was good about a traditional magical girl series and replaced the kiddy stuff with mecha.
Force has strayed so far from that formula that it's essentially Nanoha in name only. At this point it's just a bad Strike Witches ripoff.

Oh will you shut up!? All you do is bitch and moan and whine! If you hate it so goddamn much, the why are you here, besides spreading your misery to the rest of us. Honestly, don't you have something better to do!?

In order: (1) no, (2) you'd bitch too if your favorite series had been completely ruined, (3) I'm still a fan of the rest of the franchise and if it ever goes back to normal I want to be the first to know, and (4) no, and apparently neither do you if you have time to bitch about my bitching.

And in order 1st) please? 2nd) I have my issues with series when they made changes I personally didn't agree with all the way, and in the end, I stayed my tongue and didn't make myself look like a complete nobhead. And finally, it's because you KEEP whining over and over again while leaving walls of texts in your wake. Trust me, I'd normally keep quiet when people whine about stuff being "Ruined FOREVER" but by the Sankt Kaiser, YOU KEEP DOING IT OVER AND OVER AND OVER!
When people stop arguing about whether this series is any good or not then I will stop having a reason to weigh in on said arguments. If you have a problem with that, then stop reading the comments, because I'm not going to stop having an opinion just because you asked nicely.

Look, maybe I was a little harsh with the languge earlier, and I'm gonna level with ya a little here. I dislike some of the choices they made on Force. I disliked Star Wars Episodes 1, 2 and 3. I hate Metroid; Other M. I hate alot of things, I am not some kind of lover of all things no matter how terrible they are. I feel the feelings you're feeling right now, and it sucked. But come on Connie, can I call you Connie? What will loudly proclaiming to the Sankt Kaiser that "Force sucks" will honestly do? Besides making your throat hurt?
It's an excellent mating call when you're looking for like-minded fans, for one thing. Try standing up in a room full of nerds and shouting "FOR SCIENCE!!!" and you'll see a similar effect. It's also cathartic, bitching about a bad series is a lot like cursing when you stub your toe or something.

This is Nanohaverse, which means it's partially fantasy. Which also means the chain-mail bikini rule is in effect:
"The better the quality/durability of female armor, the more skin that is showing."
Fate simply figured out that rule first. As we saw in StrikerS, when she went Sonic form, she pwned everyone in her way. It took Nanoha just a bit longer to figure out...
Well, Fate has the speed to more or less not care about her defense and thus ditching most of her barrier jacket is no problem for her. She just dodges instead of blocking. Or she kicks her oppenents ass before they have a chance to attack. Nanoha isn't slow but she clearly isn't anywhere near Fate's level. She is no close-combat mage either (though not inexperienced or bad in it). If she can't dodge and gets hit in something like this and Raising Heart's defense (even if it probably won't happen) isn't enough Nanoha is done for. Besides making her look hot and keeping this in SFW levels this suit apparently has no function.
Back on topic: Yes, Captain Takamachi is indeed extraordinarily attractive in this suit. One proposal, keep the suit and forget about the machine.
