I think that they were focusing on the food. the Gilgamesh and Archer host combo is good, but I think the Archer and Shirou pair would make good hosts...
I can't tell if Saber is jealous because Gil is trying to steal her boyfriend, or if she's upset that their wasting time that could be better spent making food.

Going by the Comic Battle spin-off, all Archer and Shirou would do is try to outdo each other and in the process get nothing done. Hah.
