    its a late response, and im sorry, but i gotta say this. im completely convinced that Fang and Vanille are more than a 'plausible pairing'. i noticed when she (fang) first met lightning she said "my PARTNER and i turned to crystal there" not her 'adoptive sister' or 'friend' her PARTNER. and what do most gay couples call their significant other? their partner. just thought i'd point that interesting fact out.

    But I remember Vanille saying that they were assigned as partners for their focus, which they fulfilled together. I think it's just become such a natural thing to say? Not that I doubt that this couple is pretty legit. Just... they were literally partners
