I'd say Benny's looking miserable because he knows he has to deal with Revy after the convention, lol.

The normal Comiket reaction for artists when the books they hoped to be a bestseller is not selling.

If he is crying, where are the tears? In this funny case, it should be sprinkling from both Benny's sides. And if he is feeling miserable, they should at least be a sweat drop and/or those vertical lines in his head.
