It has more to do with the fact that Bakemonogatari (which this scene is a reference to) and Zetsubou-sensei were both animated by Shaft and that Itoshiki and Araragi (the male lead from Bakemonogatari) have the same VA.
I mainly added this because of a part of the opening from Zan Sayanara Sensei, where Kafuka is falling and Itoshki runs to catch her, looking surprised as she seems to have been very light.
