it depends on whose saying it, most Native Japanese speakers who I've heard say the name pronumce the final phoneme as "eh" rather than "ee" so I spell it in a manner that allows that. as for the Identicality you are correct that it is almost identical, the problem in this case is that the Suikoden cover itself alludes to Saiyuke (that curly gold circlet is basically unique to Son Wukong/Son Goku, the Monkey King and nobody else. Ironically by using a Monferno, the artist has sort of brough the picture back full circle.

Possibly, considering how Suikoden is based of the Water Margin, another Chinese tale.
I added cosplay tags only for the Pokemon who are clearly wearing the clothes of Suikoden II characters, rather than just occupying their location from the cover art.
