That said, I'll keep imagining Pitou as female. Makes me feel a little less gay at the end of the day
Technically speaking...Looking back at the Manga, Pitou is (within it's own species) a guy since only one female can be a queen. However, i believe in one of the picture comment around here. It was rationalized that Due to the circumstances of the chimera ant's reproduction and essentially "Chop shopping" parts together to create a Chimera ant. Pitou could be a girl physically, at least to the human physiology, but technically male according to the Chimera ant physiology.
SO, we as humans can go ahead and consider her a girl.

Some part of me wants to think of pitou as a male, cuz' If he is a she then what gon did to him was rape of the highest degree

I dindt meant literal rape, I meant metaphorical rape (as in gon not only utterly defeated him, but also killed him),as sick as my tastes maybe, I do not approve that kind of violence from a man towards a woman
