but I wonder what the story is, it looks as if Shanghai is a little girl, half the size of a person.
And she is learning how to cast magic, and her hand catches fire.
The situation reminds me of Nuku Nuku where she accidently gets her hand burnt by a cigarette.
Being she is in a robot body her body does not have nerves to feel pain with.

I havent seen Shanghai drawn this tall before, this is a new style of Shanghai for me I think o.o!
