Okay, let's say it's not terrible. You'll notice in the howto:upload link thing, it says something about users not being allowed to upload their own work. Danbooru's used by fans of other people's pictures to let other people know about their favourite artist's stuff. If you want to post pictures on the internet that you made or helped to make, there's deviantArt or pixiv. If someone likes your stuff, they'll upload it.
Of course, that's unlikely to happen. A lot of westerner-drawn stuff tends to meander around for a few days then get deleted.
