I know this is late, but, it's referring to the spin attack, and the fact that it was done by holding down the attack button. Upon release, Link would dish out severe, brutal, unwavering pain.

That's only half of it. The other half is a reference to Fist of the North Star. Kenshiro says stuff like that when he uses the death touch.

which is what whoever's in front Link will be shortly it seems

Looks to me like Link just became the incarnation of the angry god.
