Rin's fruit is oranges I don't know why the artist drew a banana in there.

It might sound absurd, but it could be Kagamine Len pretending to be Rin... It would explain the banana!

Sometimes. In the "Hatsune Mix" manga, Rin's fruit was bananas. There are certain chapters showing that Rin and Len's favorite fruit was really bananas only. No trace of oranges. Oh, I wonder why?
