yes it is, it just uses one of the alternate artworks to the one kaiba has.

I believe that that artwork was used for promos, like the one I got in the PC game, power of chaos kaiba.

I thought it was Daedalus at first too. But it's the stone tablet version of BEWD.

Not really. Seto Kaiba was around before both of them. If anything they're his kids.

How different would it be if Lelouch and Schneizel dueled in a children's card game instead of chess?

They'd still look cool doing it but if it's anything like the Yu-Gi-Oh series they'd most likely look like a entertaining animated version card game tutorial that explains every move and countermove.
