From what I remember, they said Kojima-san is interested in doing a third game, but was swamped for time doing MGS4, here's hoping he's make another. An awesome sequel, that's twice as long as the first two combined, and PS3 exclusive. ;)

Ray's not all taht hard to beat with REX, despite the poor bastard being made for CQC against other Metal Gears. Kind of sad that you beat the shit of it with an ancient model while this thing's been mass-produced(partially) in Arsenal Gear Outer Haven.

Maybe because Rex was, after all, the best MG ever made.

Remember folks, the Prototype is *always* better than the mass-production versions.

We also have to remember that Otacon upgraded Rex's O.S a few minutes before.

By design and initial perspective, Metal Gear REX should be outclassed by Metal Gear RAY. That is...until you listen to Otacon over codec during the battle and he explains how he actually turned REX into a machine capable of great agility and CQC; secretly. I don't think when RAY was created they anticipated that REX would use its raw power to just crush otherwise superior forces.

In other words... Goddamn. Metal Gear REX is the coolest battle robot EVER. Otacon ftw.

I just played MGS4 all over again. I made a new savegame data just for this battle so that I can play it over and over again.

Truly, this is the best boss-battle in the game (next to the final one against Liquid, Liquid Ocelot and Ocelot).

Best part of chapter 4? Best and last good bit of the whole game I'd say.

Rex: One shall stand, one shall fall.

Ray: You fool, why throw away your life so recklessly?

Rex: That's a question you should ask yourself Ray.

Ever since we fought Rex everyone remembers it being down there. Then, the wildest dreams of EVERY fan are fullfilled years later...
