It might just be ironic to consider Goemon the 'joker' of the deck. His jokes are often dry and awkward (making them funny), and ironic (also funny). Goemon follows Lupin around for a couple reasons (see First Contact: Episode 0), mostly because he's descended from a man who followed Lupin's grandfather around.
My work here is done. Lupin III would win in a straight fight, and then ole pops would throw a wrench into it.
Impossible, Both Jet and spike are genetically altered. Especially Spike. Lupon may be way smarter, but spikes got more power. As for the rest of the matchups, Lupon has an advantage.

Work Smarter > Work Stronger. Or haven't you ever seen who makes the most money in the world? And it's not like he'd be more resilient because of Mars' weaker gravity in the first place. Also, where are you getting genetic alterations from? I remember a replacement eye, but not that.
Ah, the Bebop crew would find a way to turn Lupin in, but then they'd get screwed out of their bounty and Lupin would get loose in a matter of hours, anyway. That is, assuming they weren't up so something awesome together in the first place.
Lupin would nab everything he could use from the ship(s) and rig the rest to make a clean and humiliating getaway. That, or go along with being "turned in", to help the crew out, and bust out, as said, in a matter of hours.
