While this particular post wouldn't get the tag it's still a good idea. Using the tag whenever something goes immediately from serious to comical. Or does what I just described already have a tag?

I'd say what you described Is something else entirely. That would be mood whiplash.

A charisma break would be a character who's usually well composed suddenly losing composure
