Technically, while Algeria was colonized, by the time Algerie was built it wasn't a colony, but a proper department of France just as much as Normandy or Lyon.

Why are her ears so low in comparison to her eyes? It's like someone moved her face up without touching her ears.

I've not been able to un-see it since it was pointed out to me, so now nobody else can either.

Her plane here is the Gourdou-Leseurre GL-810, but the 811, 812, and 813 are almost identical, the wikipedia page for all of them is the GL-812. Any ideas on how we should tag it?

That's a bad colorization, the Amazigh aren't that dark, that's more of a Tuareg skin tone (the people who the Fremen from Dune are based on). Algerie herself does look like she could be Amazigh though.
