No. People like depicting them as friends, which is very harsh in hindsight, considering Lappy is the one responsible for Suzuran being infected. Suzuran's file in-game also mentions that the two of them meeting is something that needs to he avoided.

To be completely fair, Suzuran/Lappland is also a ship, just not a terribly popular one.
As for Lappland being the one responsible for Suzuran being infected that's straight up false, the one responsible was Suzuran's uncle, to whom her mother was an adoptive sister. Lappland really has nothing against Suzuran.

I didn't claim that Lappland had anything against her, but wasn't she the one who delivered the present? Or am I completely misremembering that part?
Suzuran's mother spent years trying to find the culprits but Lappland herself was never even truly a suspect (I don't remember the exact timeline but I think she had already been disowned by her father and left Siracusa when Suzuran got infected?).
In the 'I Portatori dei Velluti' event we find out that Suzuran's uncle was the one behind the entire accident as a way to weaken Suzuran's mother's position within the mafia family as he perceived her as a threat to his own position. Lappland actually helps Suzuran's mother with finding out the truth, though by that point it's questionable whether her help was really even needed anymore.
