    (Park Shin O Bakushin and the Sakuras IRL were owned by Sakura Commerce Co. , a company founded by Korean immigrants with heavy ties to business organizations involved with North Korea. Naturally South Korean fan artists have a field day with this.)

    Funnily enough Scarlet and the Daiwas are also owned by Zainichi Koreans, but aligned with South Korea. In Japan there are two main expatriate organizations for residents of Korean ethnicity (both Japanese citizens and non citizens): Mindan and Chongryon. Mindan is aligned with South Korea while Chongryon is "aligned" with the North. Scarlet's owner was a bigshot in Mindan while his son is the current vice-chairman. Meanwhile the brothers who founded Sakura Commerce were heavily involved with Chongryon and one of them was even the vice-chairman once.
