Yes. Which is obvious if you think about it for half a minute. Nothing in any official work implies a skewed gender ratio, which would be the case if half the female population could only give birth to girls while the other half can have both at about a 1:1 ratio. Though the resulting downfall of the male population has got to be someone's magical realm.
