The latter line of the commentary most likely refers to the verb 逃げ切る (nigekiru), which means to successfully make one's escape, and also to win by a narrow margin.
This in turn refers to Umamusume's 大逃げ (dai nige) ability, called Runaway in the Global version of the game, in which a Front Running Umamusume begins the race by immediately surging to the front and creating an overwhelming gap between them and the rest of the pack, which is then hopefully too large for the other racers to overcome. This is based off of the real-life running style of Katsuragi Ace and a few other select horses.
Please feel free to alter the translation to better suit the Global term, as I'm quite uncertain as to how to do so!! ^^;; Apologies if this is the wrong place to put this, I'm still rather inexperienced with Danbooru.
