In case you're not aware, almost all horses in Umamusume have their fates known, and none of them involve a slaughterhouse.
The only exception Samson Big, whose fate technically remains uncertain,made chatter in the JP fan base simply because they were surprised Cygames were even able to get ahold of the horse's property owner at all.
P.S. Everyone who knows Scarlet (especially her RL racing form) knows the "Miss Perfect" moniker ain't for show.

Besides, since horse racing became mainstream no owner of a competing horse would survive the public finding out that they were simply disposed of before or after retirement.
