28% of the Dutch population isn't of an ancestry in the modern day Netherlands and the country enthusiastically participated in the African slave trade sending a bunch to their colonies in the Caribbean and South America. Quite a few of the descendants thereof would end up in the Netherlands. There's a lot more than you seem to think. Setting that aside, there's plenty of precedent in umamusu for making a dark as fuck horse have dark skin as an uma, and I would say the horse in the picture's darkness is "as fuck". National origins don't have to enter this discussion, the horse is really black and the mane is styled crinkly, there's nothing wrong with extrapolating both of those characteristics into an uma-fied version

Also, Dutch isn't an ethnicity or race. It's a country. You can be French and Asian or Korean and Black at the same time, yo. If someone born in Afghanistan moves to Japan, they're Japanese. That's literally how it works.

Dutch is an ethnicity and nationality tho? I think its more the Netherlands you mean for the country. Added being born in a country and immigrating/applying citizenship are completely different processes so it kinda is and isnt how that works. Regardless im not even on the side of the other peeps, fucking love pretty black girls. Just that last statement irked me enough to correct it.
