Apparently, a multi-billion dollar corporation is too small to coexist with a single piece of fanart ——————New———————— If it wasn't the corporation, was it a “witch hunt” by toxic fans, or just an automated system error? Sadly, the artwork is still being attacked by many anti-yuri comments.
If Kuro really had to take it down due to player backlash, I can't imagine they turned their back on the artist silently. The artist has drawn Wuthering Waves before but none of it is on Pixiv; this one specifically went onto Pixiv and then the Twitter post was removed. I'd like to believe they kept in contact with the artist informing them of what they were going to do and to make sure the artist could get it to another place first.
I'm no corpo defender but it sounds like this is what happened to me.
DMCA trolling then huh. So like before, it's not that Kuro turned their back on the artist, just that it might've not been them. These kinds of things need time for the facts to settle.
