    ⊂ I Watched Tropical-Rouge! Precure ⊃

    Illust: 2026-01-03 First off, the tension in that opening is way off lolol♡
    So I was curious and watched "Tropical-Rouge! Precure". It was really interesting.
    It's a bright and cheerful work, and the way it portrays friendship isn't simply about being "comrades", but rather about everyday life and the inner workings of individuals without being overbearing.
    It was a story that really touched me in that regard.
    All of the main characters are charming and I love them all, but Manatsu stands out amongst them
    with her bright and positive outlook, or rather, she can only see what's right in front of her.
    That scene where she genuinely cried was truly hard to endure.
    What really struck with me was was how startled I was at her reason for "asking for the name first" in the final stage.

    This series came out in 2021 during Covid and right after the unfortunately placed Healin' Good Precure, so they went with as lighthearted of a series as they could. Which is why it's mostly full of levity and humor, and why the opening had such a departure from the previous seasons as far as seriousnes goes. In all honesty, it's still one of my most favorite Precure series.
