I vaguely (6 years ago? that's crazy...) remember in the 1st season anime where Suzuka was TOTALLY into the trainer. That one scene where they were in the car together sold it for me.

Man you're right it's been a while since I watched season one. I mostly remember Spe being almost obsessed with Suzuka haha
