Is there any Venezuelan celebrating this? Looking at twitter, it's mostly AI and some random football celebrations people pretend to be venezuelans. Meanwhile the few rallies actually confirmed to happen in venezuela seem to be actually pro-Maduro.
Edit: Nevermind, the artist is a NATO dickrider. Probably doesn't care about anything that goes against his narrative.

I heard on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and from some Friends that this is Kinda what happened.
From what I heard when the Bombing started the Venezuelan Soldier on site pretty much ditched everything and got on Hiding, Now I am NOT saying that is what happened, It is what I heard and what I believe It could happened, But taking into account that they are mostly for show and civillian control, It is pretty likely that happened.
Also some friends from Venezuela are saying that they are getting forced by their University/Schools To act tough and some said that some goverment dudes(I don't believe this one) are coming to have a "Venezuela must Remain Strong, Maduro will eventually come back to help you" talk.

Look up on twitter. Almost every tweet supposedly depicting venezuelans celebrating get community noted as fake. Remember the US has the largest propaganda arm in the world and this is not the first time they use it to manufacture consent.
I've found a few more, but danbooru cant embed more than 1.

Nevertheless, I still prefer US propaganda over Russian and Chinese ones because at least US special forces and arms actually achieve results, unlike Russia, which failed to capture Zelenskyy, and China, whose equipment busted in Thai-Cambodian war.
Of course it was diaspora, simply because there's no way to protest openly in Venezuela without getting yourself dragged from the streets by Colectivo thugs.

Nah. Diaspora tends to support any action against their original country because they know it wouldn't affect them. It's not like they would be the ones at risk getting bombed.

Yeah sure, as if American equipments never broke, or their special forces always succeed. Remember when their special forces killed North Korean fishermen before running?
Nah, man. It's just your confirmation bias speaking. You support american propaganda because you like them. If they succeed, then you're vindicated, while if they failed, then it wasn't so bad. Meanwhile you'd celebrate if the country you hate failed and cry foul when they succeed.

You can be against maduro and be happy for the Venezuelan people but also be against the way the U.S did this. Make no mistake this wasn't done for the Venezuelan people and too many people are ignoring that fact. This is a sign of increased U.S aggression and the outright ignoring of international law. with Trump having his sights on greenland people are rightfully scared and angry about this direction. None of this is normal
I just wanna say, those who are saying that this is a good thing for Venezuela, you might wanna remember what happened to places like Chile and all the other countries after the US usurped their leaders. Yes, Maduro was bad, but what the US and whoever ends up being their puppet ends up doing will be worse as they wring the country dry.

It's one of the most mismanaged dictatorships in history. Unless new bosses of the old regime will go full Pol Pot, it won't be worse. I know that "le both sides bed" thinking cap is alluring, but context is important
Don't be so harsh, it's moments like this that bring a sense of community to the internet as a whole Otherwise it would be just pinterest but with only anime (and less AI Slop)

I should add that Maduro banned Twitter since 2024 due to an argument with Elon Musk, despite saying that it would be a 10-day ban, it's still going on, most Venezuelans aren't really around Twitter anymore, and the ones who are left have to use a VPN.

Though as Venezuelan, I feel like I'm losing braincella just reading most of these, yes, Venezuelans celebrated this, specially since they bombed Chavez's tomb, yes, a lot of Venezuelans are also aware that this wasn't done for free or any sort of goodwill, they don't care anyways (though imo it's humilliating to not be able to solve our issues on our own).
And funny, I've seen someone mention "propaganda" here, yet they fell for PSUV's propaganda of """actual Venezuelan rallies that supported Maduro""", which are just the groups of people that were given money and power by the dictatorship, which we call "enchufados", I should also add that the dictatorship also has complete control over Venezuelan media, and they also have a lot of people from outside who also do propaganda for them, one infamous example is the argentinian influencer "Michelo", who even denied that people captured by the dictatorship were being tortured.
