Digimon are essentially born from data and memes of the internet. Doesn't take a lot of deduction that means each of them has a little more than just a basic understanding of human culture.

Comparing this with in-lore example, Taichi's Agumon which is born on the first generation internet lacks a lot of information compared to the chad Daimon Masaru's Agumon; not to mention the higher tier 'evolution' they reach their internal database got expanded. Gatomon being a Champion-level Digimon also adds to that argument.
