I get what they mean but honestly I think Tachyon is one of the more consistent characters between the game and the anime. She's weird as hell in both and clearly in a similar way. The New Era movie is just really unhinged in general so she comes off as even more deranged there.

I wouldn't call the movie itself "deranged', just more...hot-blooded overall. And yeah, the personality is generally the same, but the presentation of Tachyon is absolutely night and day.
