While that Kanji is translated as Mekake 妾 (means Concubine), it's also another use of Watashi (means Me): https://furigana.info/w/%E5%A6%BE:%E3%82%8F%E3%81%9F%E3%81%97

In her JP Voice, she also called herself Watashi, but the JP Text write 妾（わたし）(Watashi), so just use the normal "Me" for translation

English doesn't have an archaic formal first person, which is what Mekake should be. May abuse the reflexive: Mineself?

Why is Musashi calling herself a concubine? And she doesn't speak that way either.
