Soon after Selen Tatsuki was terminated, three other Nijisanji EN members held short livestreams discussing it. They were Elira Pendora, Vox Akuma, and Ike Eveland. Opinions toward EN have already soured due to how the termination was handled (among other things) and the way the streams were conducted made things worse. I don’t remember all of the specifics, but they basically said more than necessary, sharing things that probably should’ve been kept confidential. Opinions were mixed over how much control the livers had over the situation, but most agreed the streams were handled very unprofessionally.

Some of the angry comments and the upvotes they receive really highlight how little the general public knows about that whole controversy. Or perhaps it show just how successful the smearing campaign by 4chan was.

If Kiara had no problem hanging out with Elira IRL, then I don't think there is anything wrong or weird with portraying Nerissa together with Elira in an artwork. What I'm referring to is that Mint (a close friend of Doki btw), Elira, and Kiara did meat up to hang out in real life, and this happened well after the controversy.

People like Mint and Kiara know way more about Elira and behind the scene events than random folks on the internet, and I would trust their judgement rather than speculations online.

An interesting thing about this comment section is people harassing a woman who only wanted to protect her friends think they're on the good side because it's someone from a company they just so happen to dislike.

She never did. It's weird how people like Vox and Ike, who were in the black screen stream, don't receive a fraction of the harassment Elira gets (such as getting drawn gangraped and being directly tagged in that picture), but maybe you're right and they're the good guys for harassing livers and fans.

That's not what really happened, though. It really shows how people don't know much about that event besides initial rumors and gossip.

About a week after the incident people were able to conclude that there was a huge miscommunication between Selen's lawyer and Niji EN management. Management misunderstood her intentions and though she is about to release a hit piece against the branch and everyone in it. They then either forced or convinced in some other way (we don't know for sure) the talents to record that infamous black stream.

Either way, the talents themselves, including Elira, could not possibly know the content of Selen's letters. All correspondence between Selen and Niji EN management was going through their legal department (Doki has clarified this in her statement), which is not accessible to regular members. So the only thing Elira and others knew was what management has told them. They most likely were convinced that they are just defending themselves from an attack that is going to happen any moment. And the script for that black stream must have been prepared by the management too, considering that talents didn't have access to the information they were mentioning in it. So blaming Elira for it is literally "shooting the messenger".

Man, its insane how stupid the aversge vtuber fan is. Like you morons always call the guys on 4chan a bucnh of insane schizo's, but the second it comes to a non-hololive vtuber everything those idiots say must be 100% true and ignore that no one who left has anything negative to say about elira, and mint even went on a trip with her long after she left nijisanji, but jo elira is some horrible person. People who support these horrible vtuber companies over the streamers themselves are all horrible people, especially these hololive cultists, but man the anti-elira people might be close to the covercorp cult in their garbage behavior.
