Sadly the feed wont last forever even if refridgerated, but at least they can feed the entire stable for a while
I don't believe they send it all at once, that would obviously be a waste. She very likely literally has enough now to last her entire life, as it'll be sent in batches.
Also to clarify for anyone that didn't catch it from the linked tweet, you are not paying to feed the horse. That's already taken care of, the horses are well cared for. This is donating a treat.

The site is for sending those 5kg boxes to the farms, so no real way for the farm owners using the money otherwise. I guess the most they can do is tell them how often to send over a new box. But it's at their discession to use the grass as see fit, eg. giving some to other horses at their farm.
