am i allowed to say i find her design quite disappointing? she's pretty, of course, but another generic taihou lookalike. i feel like her namesake could've provided a lot of cool and unique design opportunities, which were completely missed.

I think I get what he means. It's less about the uniform or anything, but like... the actual person. Like, don't get me wrong, she's very cute and overall I actually really love the character. But, why Trinidad? For a little bit I wondered if the color palette was supposed to be the flag but that's purely a choice of the hair color. I'm not sure why she isn't made to look Trinidadian, like Jamaica was clearly supposed to be Jamaican, or why she isn't a clumsy dork who torpedoed herself. Either would probably be fine rather than an onee-san type.
